Cancellation Policy
At Vozi (Vr Mobility Private Limited), we value fairness and transparency. Our cancellation policy is designed to protect the time and effort of both riders and drivers. Here's how it works:
Rider Rights and Information
As a rider, you have the freedom to decide whether to proceed with a ride. To help you make an informed decision, Vozi provides essential details before the ride starts, including:
- Pricing and Estimates: Upfront fare and estimated time of arrival (ETA).
- Vehicle and Driver Information: Details such as the license plate, driver's name, and vehicle type.
You may cancel a ride at any time through the Vozi app. However, a cancellation fee may apply in certain situations outlined below. These fees help compensate for the time and effort spent getting to your location.

When a Cancellation Fee May Apply
Post-Acceptance Cancellations
A cancellation fee of ₹299 will be charged if the ride is canceled within 1 hour of the scheduled pickup time.
At the Pickup Location
If the customer cancels after the driver has arrived at the pickup location, the full ride fare will be charged as a cancellation fee.
Cancellation Fee Processing
- Any applicable cancellation fee will be added to your next Vozi ride bill.
- For prepaid rides, the cancellation fee will be deducted, and the remaining balance will be refunded to the original payment source.
Driver-Side Cancellations
If a driver cancels your ride after accepting the request (except in cases of valid reasons like vehicle breakdown or medical emergencies):
- Vozi will credit 10% of the total fare (up to ₹100) to your account as compensation.
Driver Exceptions & Restrictions
If a driver cancels due to the following reasons:
- Mechanical/Electrical Issues – Vehicle breakdown or technical failure.
- Medical Emergencies – Health-related concerns preventing the driver from continuing service.
In such cases, drivers will be restricted from accepting new rides for at least 6 hours to ensure proper resolution of the issue.
